Beck will lead a dialog on how public art projects impact a community, and share the Revolving Museum’s success in creating and implementing community art projects that have stimulated cultural activity in Lowell.

All Cape Ann residents, artists and business owners are invited to be a part of a dialog to explore the grassroots potential of community-based art on Cape Ann, as well as opportunities to encouraging a creative partnership between local artists and businesses.
Together we will explore the relationship of citizen art to the interests, identity, and goals of the Cape Ann community and discuss the importance of public involvement in creating art.

The Revolving Museum is an evolving laboratory of creative expression for people of all backgrounds, ages, and abilities. Through public art, exhibitions, and educational programs the museum promotes artistic exploration and appreciation, encourages community participation and growth, and provides opportunities for individual empowerment and collective change.

One of the museum's goals, Beck says, is to start a conversation with people who've been alienated from the arts. “We’re trying to build bridges, bring artists and the public together in adventurous ways, and push the boundaries of what [art] can be,” he says.

The seARTS Speaker Series is part of a Community/Visitor Education Program is funded in part by the
